On the 1 July 2006 the RoHS guideline could be successfully implemented for all relevant products and product categories thanks to an intense preparation phase. Besides considerable investments to adopt the machinery pool -especially in the field of electronics- an important factor of success was the creation of a process map covering the complete RoHS process in the ERP system. By means of this integrated solution, the 'RoHS-status' of the bought-in parts can be continously traced from the order to goods receipt up to storage. On the basis of differntly marked production documents our production staff can distinguish between RoHS-compliant and non-complaint production orders.

Meanwhile Dittrich & Greipl is able to provide every production step in both process versions. As many customers have been excluded of the RoHS-directive (like the military oder medical sector) and intend to start the conversion process soon, Dittrich & Greipl supports both process options.
